    5. My fave room is my living room. That is where hubby and I catch up on each other's day and talk.

    6. My hubby's fave room would be the bedroom because he can lie down after a long day and pass out watching TV.

    7. My kitty cat loves our guest bedroom which he has decided is now his bedroom. How many kitties get their own bedroom?!?! Silly puss!

    8. Interesting little fact about my kitty: anytime someone knocks or ring our doorbell he growls like a dog. LOL!

    9. I am pretty sure our guests enjoy the living room in our house the most because we have a gorgeous recliner sectional where everyone can kick their feet up and enjoy the TV and our company of course!

    11. Today's comment is about the fact that my house does not have enough storage and it drives me crazy! Argh. Some shelves, closets, cubby holes, anything would help!

    12. One thing I dislike in my kitchen is the lack of shelf space for stockpiling products! I am a person who likes to stock up when prices are good on things I use a lot of and unfortunately with my kitchen the way it is right now, I just don't have enough room. :-(

    13. I currently live in an end unit townhouse which is okay but I would someday like to move to a house closer to our major city. Of course, that will depend on finances in the future. Sigh

    14. Our house has several projects that we would like to get done in 2013: change out the sink in our powder room downstairs, change the sink in our master ensuite, change out some of our light fixtures, and landscaping outside.

    15. We have a neighbor beside us who likes to put out bird feed loose on his front porch. Therefore all the birds in the area tend to hang out in a small bush that we have in our front yard. I also have a lovely big chair to sit in for the warm weather months - however, with all the birds attracted by the free food, my beautiful chair is covered in bird poop. We are looking into various options to scare the birds away from our front porch. Argh!

    16. When we moved into our current home about 1 1/2 yrs ago I chose a lovely warm colour of yellow for most of our house and I still really enjoy the warmth and brightness it gives throughout the house.

    17. A bit of advice from a home-buyer to those looking to buy a home. When we bought our current place the powder room had an all glass sink that, at the time, I thought was quite stunning. Some 1 1/2 yrs later I hate that dang sink - it is impossible to get in underneath the sink to clean away and drip marks, dust, or whatever and it drive me nuts each time I have to clean it. So before falling in love with something that is very "au courant," consider the cleaning of said item!

    18. When trying to find a paint colour for my powder room on the main floor I was lucky enough to find a blue-grey colour that matched the tile backsplash and I am still in love with that colour. Fabulous!

    19. The room I probably spend the most time in would be my kitchen. I almost always enjoy spending time in there puttering around making new creations for me and hubby.

    20. Right now our driveway and sidewalk outside our house is completely covered by snow. My hubby was out about an hour ago shoveling everything and you would never know he had done anything! Argh!

    21. My upstairs level has some horrible laminate that comes in sheets rather than planks. If I ever get the money for it, I would love to replace that garbage with some decent looking laminate!

      ReplyDelete
    22. One of my favorite features of our living room is the stone gas fireplace. It has very pretty bricks of rock that accent the room really beautifully.

      ReplyDelete
    23. Another thing I would love to be able to do with our current home is get rid of the popcorn ceilings. I understand that it is a horrible process to do it but I would want to hire someone to do it and be done with it. I just think it would make the house look so much better.

    24. In my house we have absolutely no carpeting, just tile and hardwood or laminate flooring. I could have stood to have some carpet in the bedrooms maybe. Instead we are slowly collecting rugs. Oh well.

      ReplyDelete
    25. my favorite thing is my big fluffy bed. i have a hard dragging myself out of it every day

      ReplyDelete
    26. In the summertime, I love to sit under our front porch and read. The porch gets a beautiful breeze through it and I can sit and relax watching the neighborhood and sipping cocktails.
